Swedish football competition (season 2011)

While in Western Europe all football competitions have their annual summer break, beautiful Nordic countries like Sweden are about to kick-off their competition: the Allsvenskan League. The competition starts early April ’till the end of November, yes, even during summer time.

WebComrades was assigned very last-minute to make a play-along website (in 3 weeks) before the start of the competition. We jumped in our mission impossible suits and delivered in both Swedish & English before the start of the competition. On top of that, the website is supported by Aftonbladet, Sweden’s most popular newspaper and shows real news and historical stats of previous head-to-head games. Football fans can lick their fingers: immediately after the game, we’ll show you a complete detail of the line-up, goalscorers, substitutes and cards for each match. A simple registration by email or sign-in with your Facebook account is enough to get hooked on this free play-along site and find out who’s the #1 Allsvenskantipset smart-ass amongst your friends.

Nice-to-know: this site works smoothly without any manual intervention, all match data is fetched almost in real-time, winner selections and daily rankings are calculated automatically.
